Experienced Long-form and Short-form Video Editor

As a Video Editor, you will be part of a Video Production Team consisting of a Script Writer and Social Media Manager. Your job will be to lead the Video Editing in a highly collaborative team environment. You are expected to consistently deliver high-quality work while collaborating effectively with the team to produce engaging and visually appealing videos.

Role Expectations:
1). Edit 2 long-form and 2 short-form videos per week.
2). Create thumbnails for all long-form and short-form videos.
3). Take full ownership of video editing and lead the creation of videos from scripts.
4). Speak and write English fluently, demonstrating a high level of communication and collaboration ability.
5). Maintain working hours from 8 am - 5 pm or 9 am - 6 pm Philippine Time.
6). Proficient in various video, graphic, and audio editing software. Have the ability to incorporate graphic design into video edits.
7). Capable of exploring and editing videos based on different topics. Skilled in graphic design-focused edits, storytelling through graphics, and animations. Knowledgeable in implementing color theory.
8). Experienced in editing visual-graphic videos for YouTube. Familiar with both long-form and short-form content, including thumbnails.
9). Take initiative with a proactive, can-do attitude. Adhere to timelines and project schedules.
10). Spot mistakes or omissions before forwarding work to the team. Ensure work meets a high-quality standard.
11). Adapt well to the company’s culture. Flexible in editing, time management, and processes. Lead problem-solving sessions to enhance video quality.
12). Demonstrate respect, professionalism, ownership, and strong communication skills, adhering to all the traits and skills mentioned above.
