Full stack Developer / Wordpress Website Designer for UK based MSP - Home based - UK Hours - Full time - Long term

We are looking for a creative and experienced Full Stack Web Developer with a strong background in designing and developing WordPress websites, along with expertise in backend API integrations. The ideal candidate will have excellent English communication skills, a proven track record in client interactions, and the ability to create mockups, summaries, action plans, and time estimates. This role involves producing customer-facing weekly reports with actionable recommendations and plans.
Key Responsibilities:

Website Development:
Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites.
Customize themes and plugins to meet client requirements.
Ensure websites are responsive, user-friendly, and optimised for performance.

Backend Integration:
Develop and integrate APIs to connect WordPress websites with various backend systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
Ensure secure and efficient data flow between systems.

Client Interaction:
Engage with clients to understand their goals, requirements, and expectations.
Translate client needs into technical specifications and mockups.
Communicate complex technical concepts in an understandable manner.

Project Planning:
Create clear, concise, and actionable project summaries and plans.
Provide accurate time estimates for project deliverables.
Develop and present mockups to clients for feedback and approval.

Reporting and Analysis:
Produce detailed, actionable reports for clients, providing clear recommendations and summarising project progress
Use analytics tools to measure website performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Present findings and recommendations to clients, addressing any questions or concerns.

Qualifications:

Experience and Skills:
Proven experience in designing and developing WordPress websites.
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
Experience with API development and integration.
Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Client-Facing Skills:
Demonstrated experience in engaging with clients and understanding their requirements.
Ability to create clear, concise, and actionable summaries and plans with accurate time estimates.
Strong presentation skills and the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
