Freight and Operations Specialist

We are looking for a Freight / Operations Specialist who will take the lead in the logistics coordination of running projects and the overall data management to improve operations and customer relationships.

Key responsibilities :
Planning weekly and monthly international shipments based on China factory completion dates and client’s on-site date requirements. Client’s locations : North America, South America, Canada, The Caribbean, Asia
Coordinating with factory, ocean freight, air freight, and domestic trucking partners regarding vessel / flight schedules & rates, status updates, customs clearance processing, and estimated delivery dates
Preparing and ensuring that the correct shipping documents and compliance records are used in all shipments
Providing shipping updates to internal stakeholders and external customers
Maintaining updated project reports and data entries in the Hubspot CRM software to capture all running projects and new opportunities
Overseeing the company database and leveraging Hubspot as an analytical tool in leads generation and customer relationship management
Assisting in process improvements in operations and project management

Minimum requirements :
At least 2+ years work experience in international logistics coordination is a must
Preferably 2+ years work experience in operations or project management
Familiarity with Hubspot and other CRM software a plus
Bachelor’s degree
Clear and effective communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to work full-time with occasional flexed hours
Must have strong time management, problem-solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills that can be applied in a multi-tasking environment
