Virtual Operations Assistant

The Opportunity:
Y1 Sport is seeking ambitious individuals to join Y1 Sport’s Contracted Teamwear department. You will be responsible for managing and optimising the back end of the business; helping to create and maintain the flow of products from the factories, to our customers.

Daily Responsibilities:
Joining a team and reporting to Ed, our Manager of Operations on the Teamwear side of the business, your daily tasks will include:
1. Creating and managing product pages and collections on the Shopify store.
2. Updating stock levels on the Shopify store.
3. Managing and updating metafields on the Shopify store.
4. Editing Google Sheet templates for improved efficiency and uploading information to our websites and warehouses.
5. Process and dispatch orders using the software provided by the warehouse.
6. Ensuring accuracy of order instructions sent to the warehouse.
7. Assist the onboarding of new clubs, providing them with any information they may need.

Key Skills:
- Written English in emails
- Spoken English for communicating internally
- Google Sheets
- Google Docs
- Google Calendar
- Google Meet (for internal team calls)
- Slack (for internal company communication)
- Notion (for internal documents and task management

Technical Skills:
- Notion (training and software will be provided)
- Photoshop/ Affinity design (training and software will be provided)
Note: At Y1 Sport we use Affinity design rather than Photoshop.
