Interior Designer for Airbnb

We’re looking for a creative, reliable Interior Designer to help design and furnish apartments and homes for short-term rentals (Airbnb, VRBO, ---------- , etc.).

This is a freelance, project-based role — ideal for someone who enjoys creating modern, stylish, and functional spaces that photograph beautifully and attract guests.

What You’ll Do:
- Design and furnish apartment units and houses for short-term rentals
- Create mood boards, layouts, and renders to visualize how furniture and décor will look together
- Source all furniture and décor pieces and organize links and prices in an Excel or Google Sheet for easy ordering
- Offer different design concepts or layout options when requested
- Work closely with our team to stay within the given budget for each property

Project Details
- Smaller properties (e.g., studios or 1BR apartments) are quicker and lower cost to design
- Larger properties (e.g., 3–5BR homes) will have higher project fees, as they require more design work and sourcing
- We will provide a rough furnishing budget and project scope upfront for each property

Ongoing Partnership
We’re looking for someone to work with long-term.
If we’re a good fit, we’d like to refer you to our students (who are setting up their own short-term rentals) for their interior design projects as well — giving you consistent future opportunities.

Requirements
- Strong eye for modern, trending interior design styles
- Experience designing Airbnb or hospitality-style spaces
- Ability to source furniture, décor, and artwork within budget
- Can create renders or visual mockups to showcase how the space will look
- Excellent communication and organization

About the Role
- Freelance / Gig-Based: Projects assigned as needed
- Flexible Hours: Work on your own schedule and deliver by agreed deadlines
- Compensation: Paid per project based on size and scope
