Level 2 IT Engineer

Compensation:
$1200-$1500 a month (based on experience)

Position Requirements:
-Mastery in technologies including firewall, switch, Azure, Citrix, AWS, networking, and security
-Demonstrable experience with ConnectWise Manage and/or Automate, crucial for managing workflows and automations
-Engaging team player who enjoys working in a group of talented tech professionals focused on customer satisfaction
-Innovative thinker who enjoys creating real cloud solutions for new customers

Responsibilities:
-Design, implement, and support current and future IT systems
-Analyze, design, test, maintain, and support various network configurations
-Proactively improve knowledge of Azure, Amazon, Citrix, and related technologies
-Troubleshoot and solve problems comprehensively, understanding broader contexts
-Lead small projects and participate in all phases from requirements gathering to implementation

Core Competencies:
-Expertise in Azure DaaS, VMware, networking, and server technologies
-Experience with Cisco, SonicWall, and WatchGuard firewalls; networking switch technologies; and network routing

General Knowledge & Experience:
-Proficient in Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange & O365
-Experience with AWS, particularly in configurations of EC2, S3, and Management Tools
-Experience with Citrix products including XenApp and Netscaler

Ideal Qualifications:
-BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
-At least 10 years of relevant industry experience in design, installation, configuration, and support
-Experience working with a Managed Service Provider is preferred
-Excellent communication, written, and problem-solving skills
-Flexibility to work off-hours as needed
