Responsibilities:

• Analyse existing learning content and identify key learning objectives.

• Develop a variety of self-marking assessment questions (e.g., multiple choice, true/false, fill-in-the-blank) that align with the assessment matrix and learning objectives.

• Ensure all questions accurately assess learners' knowledge and skill acquisition.

• Write clear, concise, and grammatically correct questions that are free from ambiguity.

• Utilize a variety of question formats to cater to different learning styles and objectives.

• Pilot test assessments and analyse results to ensure effectiveness.

• Refine and improve assessments based on pilot test feedback.

• Upload and configure assessments within the LMS for seamless learner experience.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date assessment records.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructional designers to ensure content and assessment alignment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Education, or a related field (preferred).

• Minimum 2 years of experience developing learning content and assessments.

• Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122)

• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.

• Experience with creating self-marking assessments in a learning management system (LMS) is a plus.

• Excellent writing and editing skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
