Video editor for short form content

Hello, my name is David. A travel vlogger from Ireland with 70,000 followers online. I am currently seeking a reliable Video editor to repurpose my YouTube content into 3-8 minute clips for my Facebook and ---------- profiles. My content style is raw and relatable similar to Harry Jaggard & Small Brained American.

Rather than getting straight into a test trial I would like to take this opportunity to show what is involved and to get an understanding of your experience and level as an editor.


JOB INFO;
• As an editor, you will be required to go through my YouTube videos (files will be provided) and create engaging 3-8minute 5:4 clips.
• You will have to d ---------- on which scenes to create these clips on – more info at the next stage.
• If the work is good we may then also d ---------- to create Reels and short-form content (under 90 seconds, 16:9) from these Facebook videos.
Create, edit and review clips
Adding captions throughout
• Creating titles and a thumbnail
• These are some examples of clips from other vloggers;
o CLIP 1
o CLIP 2
o CLIP 3

These were all scenes from his YouTube videos and then edited and cut down into something shorter.


QUALIFICATIONS:
• Proven experience as a video editor
• Understanding of how the pace and structure of a video works with engagement.
• Prolific at English in adding subtitles
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends
• Knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects.
• Keeps to deadlines
• Creativity and can come up with ideas
• Someone who likes to learn and listens to feedback intently
• Someone who takes initiative - I want you to eventually be able to work on your own with little to no feedback fro ----------
