Assistant Controller/CPA

Moura Accounting is a US startup firm that provides CFO, Accounting, Bookkeeping, Tax, BPO, and FP&A services to small businesses in the US. We are looking for someone to assist in heading Finance and Accounting departments, and lead our team of remote Philippines workers.

Responsible for Client Accounting Services (Accounting) teams. They will help to lead both Accounting and Finance teams to deliver services to clients on time and with quality. Key responsibilities:
- Client Accounting Services (Accounting) teams
- Reviews and approves key deliverables for clients (weekly & monthly reports)
- Responsible for design, implementation, and continuous improvement of internal processes and controls for Finance and Accounting departments
- Reports to Chief Operating Officer and Head of Accountant
- Responsible for training and staffing of Finance and Accounting teams
