AL13 Architectural Systems is on the lookout for a skilled architectural draftsperson to become part of our team. The chosen applicant will be responsible for delivering precise and prompt takeoffs.
The ideal candidate must possess strong independent working skills, demonstrating the ability to manage tasks and projects efficiently with minimal supervision. This includes a proactive approach to problem-solving, effective time management, and the capability to deliver high-quality takeoff results consistently.
Additionally, the candidate must have an active account and over one year of experience using PlanSwift, showcasing their proficiency with this software.
This position is a full-time contract role in which 8 hours of work is required daily. AL13 training will be integrated into the terms of the monthly agreement.
Qualifications:
- Possess at least 3 years of experience in the architectural drafting sector
- Hold a degree in Architecture or Architectural Drafting
- A quick learner exhibiting a strong sense of commitment and precision, and drive to improve work efficiencies
- Skilled in interpreting and comprehending architectural plans and intricate details
- Good communication and people skills are essential
- Strong independent working skills, demonstrating the ability to manage tasks and projects efficiently with minimal
supervision and submitting work within stringent deadlines
- Proficiency in spoken and written English is vital
Main Duties:
Review architectural plans, requirements, and related documents to prepare accurate takeoffs according to AL13 standards and specific requirements for cladding tasks.
Ensure takeoffs are submitted daily before 2:00PM Pacific Standard Time, with possible adjustments based on project complexity.
Work closely with the lead estimator to comprehend the project's scope, requirements, and deadlines.
