PurpleCow Digital Marketing is looking for a motivated WordPress & WooCommerce Developer that is up for becoming part of the team for long term growth.

This position is 20 hours/week. Monday – Friday. 4 hours per day. Preferred day shift of 9am - 1pm Philippine Standard Time.

Monthly tasks include:

• Manage monthly software updates of client websites (WordPress)
• Manage monthly support requests from clients (through support ticket centre)
• Develop WordPress themes for new client projects
• Apply new plugin features to client websites (WordPress)
• Work to resolve issues related to WordPress websites and client hosting
• Building websites in page builder from provided mock-ups and applying CSS/coding as needed
• Assist in maintaining client’s website speed performance and security

Qualities we are looking for:

- English fluency
- At least 5+ years experience with Adobe design programs
- A free thinker, willing to look for answers
- Confidence in coding HTML5, CSS3, PHP and JavaScript.
- Fully understands responsive coding.
- A team player who is happy working in a small team or 5-10 people.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience in cross-browser compliance issues.
- Experience in web hosting performance and security issues.
- Confidence in web design, responsive design, graphic design
- Responsive: Quick with email and chat communication

Special requirements:

- A computer that is two years old or less
