Senior Video Editor

Description: We are looking for a talented full time Video Editor to assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches our specific style and is suitable for YouTube Longform, Short form, ads, and VSLs

Full time position ranging from $2,000-3,000 per month, but we MUST be the only client

Responsibilities: Ultimately, as a Video Editor, you should be efficient in jumpcuts, captioning, and be able to bring sight and sound together in a creative way to develop viral content.
Replicate companies video style and aesthetic
Review raw material to create a viral video
Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
Input, images, emojis, graphics, and sound effects (when needed)

Qualifications:

5+ years of proven work experience as a Video Editor.
Creative mind and storytelling skills
Must have an up to date Macbook or imac
Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages.
Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio.
Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity.
Must be available from 9 am to 5 pm CST
