Job Title: 2023 Bookkeeping Catchup for Real Estate Business

About Us: We are a small bookkeeping business looking for a bookkeeper to help a client catch up. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing both business and personal bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and reporting. This role requires a proactive approach to setting up our financial management system from scratch using QuickBooks Online.

Key Responsibilities:
Join our team via QuickBooks Online for Accountants and help initialize QBO for a real estate business from scratch, including setting up accounts, chart of accounts, and initial data entry.

Financial Record Maintenance:
Accurately record all financial transactions for the business and personal accounts within QuickBooks Online, ensuring data integrity and compliance.

Annual Bookkeeping: Conduct annual bookkeeping for all of 2023, including but not limited to reconciling bank statements, preparing financial statements (balance sheets, profit and loss statements, etc...), and managing invoices and payments. Strong candidates may be asked to continue managing the business for quarterly bookkeeping in future.

Expense Tracking:
Categorize business and personal expenses, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting for 2023.

Financial Reporting:
Prepare and present quarterly financial reports, highlighting key financial metrics and insights for personal and business finances for 2023.

Requirements:
Proven experience in bookkeeping, preferably with a background in handling both business and personal accounts.

Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is a must; experience setting up QuickBooks from scratch is highly preferred.

QBO ProAdvisor Certification is required

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. If you read this far, please put "Balance" in the subject line of your email application.

Familiarity with the real estate industry is a plus but not required.
