Field Collections Officer

Job Description:
As a Field Collection Head, your primary responsibility will be to recover bad debts from delinquent borrowers in the NCR region. You will play a crucial role in maintaining strong relationships with local barangays and police stations to ensure the successful retrieval of overdue payments. This position requires a proactive and determined individual who can effectively communicate with borrowers while adhering to company policies and legal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Debt Collection:
Visit delinquent borrowers in their homes or workplaces to collect overdue payments.
Negotiate repayment terms and create customized payment plans when necessary.
Maintain accurate records of all collection activities.
File SCC cases.

Relationship Building:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with local barangay officials and police stations.
Collaborate with local authorities to locate and contact borrowers when necessary.
Attend community events and meetings to enhance your presence and credibility within the community.

Compliance:
Ensure all debt collection activities comply with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards.
Keep abreast of relevant laws and regulations related to debt collection in the Philippines.

Reporting:
Prepare regular reports on collection activities, including progress and challenges.
Provide updates to the Collections Manager regarding the status of accounts.

Customer Service:
Handle borrower inquiries and concerns professionally and courteously.
Educate borrowers on the importance of timely payments and the consequences of non-payment.

Documentation:
Maintain accurate and organized records of borrower information, payment histories, and correspondence.
Complete necessary paperwork related to collection activities.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
Proven experience in debt collection or a related field.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Knowledge of local barangay and police station procedures and contacts is highly advantageous.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing debt collection in the Philippines.
Strong ethical and professional conduct.
