Expert Content Writer

Policywise is an insurance brokerage business based in New Zealand. We have an entirely remote workforce and have a fun, supportive culture working with clients all over the country and place a high standard on the services and products we offer. We aren’t your average brokerage, and with our excellent technology and ability to adapt when required, we do most of our work online. The business is growing, so we need you to help us with writing content for our digital platforms.

Job Responsibilities:
Writing well written, great content
Researching highly accurate data and other facts is needed to write accurate and truthful content.
Brainstorm with the editorial team for new ideas and strategies for effective content
Develop copy on a wide variety of topics for multiple platforms (such as the website, blogs, articles, and social media)
Collaborate with campaign managers, creative team, and designers if needed

Qualifications/Skills:
Highly experienced in writing content (Health/Insurance related experience is a bonus)
Excellent grammar and writing skills
Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications, or a related field preferred but not required
Familiarity with keyword placement and SEO
Portfolio of published work
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Self-motivated and self-directed
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs

Requirements:
Work-from-home setup
Stable high-speed internet connection (at least 10Mbps)

Work Hours & Benefits:
Initially 10 hours per week (will be longer as we grow)
Time is flexible but working in NZT is preferred
The rate is $5-6/hour depending on the qualifications
