Accountant

Company Overview:
We are a Canadian-based distribution company seeking an experienced accountant to help us close our books, reconcile accounts, and spot any errors in our financial records.

We are currently transitioning from Quickbooks to Odoo, experience with these accounting programs is required.

Responsibilities:
- Close monthly, quarterly, and annual financial books
- Reconcile accounts and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded
- Identify and correct any discrepancies or errors in financial records
- Prepare financial statements
- Establish good bookkeeping processes
- Manage accounts payable process

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Odoo and QuickBooks is a must
- Proven experience as an accountant
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- CPA or equivalent certification is a plus but not required.
