JOB OVERVIEW

MTZ Trucking, LLC is a privately owned drayage company operating out of the Port of Los Angeles and Long Beach.

We are looking for a candidate that can assist in B2B Sales.
Base Salary + Commission once targets are reached.
2 years B2B sales experience preferred

Business Development:
-Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities in the port and drayage sector
-Generate leads, initiate sales calls, and develop strategic relationships with key stakeholders including shipping lines, logistics providers, freight forwarders, and port authorities
-Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
-Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve business growth targets
-Collaborate with the management team to define sales objectives, set realistic targets, and create sales forecasts
-Regularly review and adjust strategies to ensure alignment with organizational goals
-Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
-Understand their requirements, provide product information, address inquiries, and offer tailored solutions
-Continuously engage with customers to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns
-Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with customers to secure profitable contracts
-Collaborate with the legal team to review and finalize agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements
-Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including operations, logistics, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of customer contracts
