About the Role
As an employee at Joy Waltz Academy, you will play a pivotal role in creating a harmonious and positive experience for our students and their families. We're on the lookout for a versatile individual who can seamlessly blend the roles of a Human Resources professional and a Virtual Assistant. In this remote position, you'll be the linchpin of our team, providing crucial HR support while also handling various administrative tasks typical of a VA. Your responsibilities will span across various facets from providing detailed information work about HR & administration to resolving issues and providing solutions promptly, while ensuring a seamless process. This role requires a blend of enthusiasm, effective communication, and a passion for delivering work in a music-centric environment.
Responsibilities:
Human Resources Support:
Recruitment and Hiring: Lead the recruitment process by posting job listings on relevant platforms, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews. Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and ensure timely hiring of qualified candidates.
Onboarding and Orientation: Develop and execute comprehensive onboarding plans for new hires, including preparing necessary paperwork, conducting orientation sessions, and facilitating introductions to tea
HR Administration: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, employment history, and performance evaluations. Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements related to employment documentation.
Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance on company policies and procedures. Address employee grievances and mediate conflicts when necessary, fostering a positive work environment.
Training and Development: Coordinate training initiatives and professional development programs to enhance employee skills and performance. Track training completion and evaluate effectiveness to support continuous improvement efforts.
Compliance and Legal Matters: Stay informed about relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure organizational compliance. Assist with audits and investigations as needed, maintaining documentation and records as required by law.
Virtual Assistance:
Administrative Support: Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings on behalf of tea
Document Management: Organize and maintain digital files, ensuring easy access and retrieval of information as needed. Assist with drafting and formatting documents, presentations, and reports.
Events Coordination: Plan, organize, and execute various events such as recitals, team-bonding activities, and virtual gatherings. Coordinate logistics, operations, including venue selection, catering arrangements, giveaways and equipment setup, ensuring events run smoothly and within budget.
Research and Information Gathering: Conduct internet research on various topics, compile relevant data, and prepare summaries or reports for review. Gather competitive intelligence, market trends, and other relevant information to support decision-making processes.
Communication Support: Draft and proofread
Task Management: Prioritize tasks, track deadlines, and follow up on action items to ensure completion. Use project management tools to coordinate tasks and collaborate with tea
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with tea
Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Act as a liaison between remote tea
