Structural Steel Detailer (TEKLA)

Minimum 5 years construction industry experience working as a steel detailer with TEKLA (latest version desirable)
Knowledge in Modelling/Editing/2D drawings and Custom Component
Proficient in Microsoft Office/AutoCAD
Accurate, keen on details and able to work under pressure
Able to meet deadlines and work on a fast-paced environment
A great multi tasker and be able to pick up new ideas quickly
AUS-NZ experience is important but not essential, #1 is attitude, and a desire to contribute and make a difference
Bachelor’s / College Degree in Engineering (Civil) an advantage
Candidates would need to have a full understanding of Architectural, Structural Engineers drawings and specifications and to be able to interpret them to establish the steel requirements for the preparation of shop drawings for fabrication.
Be capable of working independently and undertake final checking before issuing shop drawings for fabrication.
High attention to detail in compliance with relevant structural steel codes & standards
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
Have a strong sense of personal accountability
