Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented part-time assistant to support our vacation rental accounting and revenue management tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent proficiency with QuickBooks Online, Excel, and Google Docs, and experience in the hospitality or vacation rental industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee accounting tasks related to vacation rentals.
Utilize QuickBooks Online for financial tracking and reporting.
Create and maintain detailed spreadsheets in Excel and Google Docs.
Present financial numbers and create owner statements in a clear and visually appealing manner.
Assist in revenue management to optimize rental income.
Optimize Airbnb listings to improve visibility and booking rates.
Leverage in-depth knowledge of the Airbnb algorithm to enhance listing performance.
Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all financial documentation.
Desired Attributes:
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
Strong skills in Excel and Google Docs.
Prior experience working with channel managers/PMS such as Guesty, Hostaway, etc.
Ability to present numbers and create owner statements attractively.
Excellent English reading and writing skills
Prior experience in the hospitality or vacation rental industry.
Revenue management experience.
In-depth understanding of the Airbnb algorithm.
Proven experience optimizing Airbnb listings.
Qualifications:
Must have prior experience working in vacation rental industry accounting.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
