SEO Content Writer for a Multi-location Cleaning Service in Canada

Job Description:

Hellamaid is seeking a Content Writer with a strong foundation in SEO to create and optimize content that drives organic growth and boosts our online presence in both Canada and the U.S. As our Content Writer, you’ll work closely with our SEO team to produce high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimized content across multiple locations and services. Key Responsibilities:

1) SEO Strategy and Content Implementation:
Collaborate with the SEO team to align content with targeted keywords, ensuring all content is optimized for search engines and follows SEO best practices. You’ll contribute to our SEO strategy by conducting keyword research, identifying relevant topics, and creating engaging content that resonates with our audience.

2) Content Creation and On-Page Optimization:
Write, edit, and publish city and service-specific landing pages, blog posts, and supporting materials. Each piece should incorporate local SEO signals and highlight Hellamaid’s unique offerings. Optimize on-page elements such as titles, meta descriptions, headers, and image alt texts to improve ranking potential.

3) Backlink and Content Outreach:
Support the SEO team in identifying backlink opportunities by crafting high-quality, link-worthy content that attracts external websites. Participate in outreach efforts to secure backlinks and strengthen domain authority.

4) Performance Monitoring:
Track and report on content performance using tools like Google Analytics and Ahrefs. Analyze metrics to refine content strategies, optimize underperforming content, and increase engagement.

5) Long-Term Content Planning:
Contribute to a content calendar that aligns with SEO projections and company goals. Assist in forecasting and prioritizing content needs that support our growth strategy, brand visibility, and market dominance.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Content Writer with a solid understanding of SEO.
- Familiarity with SEO and content tools (e.g., Ahrefs, Google Analytics, WordPress).
- Strong writing skills with an eye for detail, tone, and clarity.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Self-motivated with a passion for delivering top-notch content that drives results.
