Procurement Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a knack for identifying the best suppliers and products. This role involves sourcing suppliers for new products, managing orders, and scheduling shipments to ensure timely and efficient delivery.

Responsibilities:

- Identify and source suppliers for new products.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers.
- Manage purchase orders from initiation to completion.
- Schedule and coordinate shipments to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain and update procurement records and databases.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues that arise.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar role.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- Availability to work 4 hours in the morning (PH time) and 4 hours at night (PH time).

Preferred Qualifications:

- Familiarity with supply chain management and logistics.
- Knowledge of market research and data analysis.
- Experience with international suppliers.
