PHP and API Developer

Looking to hire an expert PHP developer for 40 hours a week for 3-6 months. This position could become full time.

We link APIs together for real estate software in the United States. We are looking for a candidate who has STRONG PHP and API experience. Essentially, we are building a Zapier for real estate software, primarily for the software Lofty . ---------- and API docs: ----------

Job Description:
As a PHP Developer and API Specialist, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining robust, scalable PHP applications and integrating them with various APIs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain high-quality solutions that meet our business requirements.

Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and maintain PHP applications
Integrate third-party APIs into existing systems
Design and implement RESTful APIs
Troubleshoot and debug issues in PHP applications and API integrations
Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of back-end services
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in PHP development and API integration

Requirements:
Proficiency in PHP programming language
Strong understanding of object-oriented PHP programming
Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter
Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation
Experience integrating with third-party APIs (e.g., payment gateways, social media APIs)
Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Knowledge of database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
Experience with version control systems such as Git
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
