Network Engineer

As a Network Engineer at velocity Technology Partners, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the network infrastructure of our clients. You will work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and develop customized network solutions to meet those requirements. Additionally, you will provide ongoing support and troubleshooting to ensure the optimal performance and security of the network environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Design and Implementation: Design, configure, and deploy network infrastructure solutions based on client requirements. This includes routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and other networking equipment.

Network Security: Implement and maintain security measures to protect client networks from unauthorized access, breaches, and cyber threats. This includes implementing firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols.

Network Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor network performance and proactively identify and address issues to ensure maximum uptime and reliability. Optimize network configurations to improve performance and efficiency.

Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients for network-related issues. Respond to service requests and i ---------- in a timely manner and escalate as needed to resolve issues efficiently.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures. Generate reports on network performance, security, and compliance as needed.

Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their business requirements, provide updates on network projects, and offer recommendations for improving network infrastructure.

Collaboration: Work collaboratively with internal teams, including Systems Engineers, Security Analysts, and Help Desk technicians, to deliver integrated IT solutions to clients.
