Legal VA at Heroes

The role

As a Legal VA, you will be joining the Heroes Legal team, supporting Chun Ho (senior paralegal) and Alexia (Intellectual Property (IP) counsel).
The Legal team interacts with all Heroes’ departments, from M&A to Retail. Therefore, you will mainly support the Legal team on Intellectual Property law, Commercial Contracting, and Compliance.

Responsibilities:
Review legal invoices, compare against existing quotes, draft comparison for IP counsel’s review, add invoice to Heroes’ system;
Update the IP budget to enable quarterly analysis;
Update our IP database to reflect new events;
Assist Chun Ho with a clean-up of our IP ownership and law firm representatives for the IP portfolio;
Update our Retail database to reflect the current executed contracts, some growth potential to assist in contract drafting based on interest;
Review the watch notices received from our IP watch system and run the initial checks for further review with Chun Ho;
Additional administrative tasks such as post-forwarding, Company house updates, etc.


About you
Fluent English
Efficient use of Excel for budget calculation
Law degree preferred with knowledge of intellectual property
Attention to detail is key
Keen to learn and be involved in various legal projects and new areas of law
