Medical device project manager, Software

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Medical Device Project Manager with a focus on software to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will manage software development projects for medical devices, ensuring that they meet regulatory standards and are delivered on time and within budget. This role requires a strong background in both project management and software development within the medical device industry.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Oversee the execution of software projects from initiation to completion.
Team Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams, including software developers, QA engineers, regulatory specialists, and other stakeholders. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure project objectives are met.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that software development processes comply with relevant regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485). Prepare and maintain documentation required for regulatory submissions.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications. Provide regular updates to senior management and other stakeholders.
Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets. Track expenditures and ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints.
Quality Assurance: Work closely with QA teams to ensure that all software products meet the highest quality standards. Oversee testing and validation processes.
