Job Description:

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Tax Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in preparing financial statements and tax returns, conducting trust account audits, and managing business activity statements. If you have a strong background in tax accounting and are adept at using accounting software, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of Financial Statements and Tax Returns:

Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and tax returns for individual clients, companies, trusts, and partnerships.
Business Activity Statements (BAS):

Prepare Business Activity Statements on a monthly or quarterly basis, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Trust Account Audits:

Conduct thorough audits of trust accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurate and compliant with relevant laws and standards.
Skills and Experience:

Proficiency in Accounting Software:

Experience with MYOB practice software, with clients using MYOB and Xero accounting software.
Communication Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex financial information to clients and colleagues.

Software Proficiency:
MYOB Accountants Office practice software
MYOB software for bookkeeping
XERO software for bookkeeping
Microsoft XL for spreadsheeting and workpapers

Technical Requirements:

-Computer with minimum 1.8 GHz processor and 8GB RAM
