Fullstack Developer

Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Full-Stack Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of our fintech application. This role involves building both the frontend and backend components of the web application, integrating with the Plaid API to access user banking information, and ensuring seamless data flow and user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement the frontend of the application using React and JavaScript.
• Develop the backend server using Node.js and Express.
• Integrate the Plaid API to securely access and manage user banking information.
• Implement features to track, categorize, and export financial transactions to CSV files.
• Ensure data security and compliance with financial regulations.
• Collaborate with the product team to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to API integration and web development.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with appropriate testing.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and experience with React for frontend development.
• Solid understanding of backend development with Node.js and Express.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs, preferably financial APIs such as Plaid.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Understanding of database management and data security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with financial data processing and categorization.
• Knowledge of cloud services and deployment (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Understanding of financial regulations and data compliance requirements.
