FULL-TIME PHP Developer (home-based)

Creative Gurus is in need of an expert Wordpress developer who has the following skills and range of work experiences:

• Experience in building custom Wordpress Themes, Plugins and Widgets (Experience building Plugins and Widgets from scratch is Required)
• Experience with JavaScript/jQuery, PHP, MySQL, and WordPress in a development role.
• Proficiency in web design technologies including HTML5 and CSS.
• 3+ Years of experience in key web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and PHP.
• Plugins and Widgets from scratch is a MUST)
• Skillful in PHP, XHTML, HTML 5, Javascript, CSS, jQuery and general Web 2.0 techniques
• Proficiency in software engineering best practices and skillful in the use of JSON/AJAX/XML techniques
• Understanding of web services technologies such as SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, XSD, and REST
• Familiarity with deploying customized content management systems using WordPress
• A critical eye for making sure that front-end look and feel accurately matches the intended page design and layout
• Ability to weigh in and offer suggestions for a positive user experience
• Confidence testing Web pages for compliance with coding standards and on multiple browsers and platforms
• Understanding of mobile and tablet design and functionality for Web usability
• Experience working within Agile development environments a plus
