Front-end Developer

I own a company that specializes in web and mobile technology. We build websites, mobile apps, e-commerce solutions, distributed back end systems, etc. Most of our clients are startup companies working with cutting edge technology and innovating daily. We are expanding our current team and looking for experienced Front-end developers. The job will be fast paced, fun and you will learn daily. With our customer base we are constantly working with technology and concepts that have never been seen before. You must be able to bring innovative ideas and approaches to the table. Your feedback and ideas will be greatly valued and encouraged. If you are applying for this position there are a few things you need to know.
1. You must be a self starter who looks for opportunities to make a project better than the client envisioned. We are highly results oriented.
2. This position is a full time salary position. You must commit 100% to this position. Bonuses and other incentives are available based on performance. This is NOT a project position, we only hire people to full time, long term positions. We will guarantee you a paycheck and training but we expect the same level of long term commitment from you.
3. Only experienced developers will be considered. Be prepared to show projects and code you have written before. Having production apps you can show off is highly preferred.
4. You must excel at self learning. This point cannot be stressed enough. Training materials, books, one-on-one training, etc will be provide but you must be an excellent self learner.
5. Our customers expect us to beat their expectations and amaze them with our results. Applicants must show an ability to go way above and beyond the customers’ expectations while staying within set time lines.
6. You must work with external partners and remote team members and have impeccable written, oral and inter-personal communication skills.

Technology / Skills Required:
? Exceptional hand-coding skills: HTML, CSS (up to HTML5/CSS3 standards), XHTML, JavaScript, DOM
? Experienced with jQuery and jQuery UI
? Capable of creating cross-browser code
? Integration with 3rd party API's
? 5+ years experience developing in the web
Any of the following skills are desirable but not required
? Computer Science Degree
? Experience using Photoshop
? Understanding of the Model / View /Controller paradigm
? Experience using the CodeIgniter PHP Framework
? Understanding of HTML 5
? Knowledge of SEO and accessibility issues
? Integration with Social Networks such as Facebook
