Creative Designer & Animator

Our company is a vibrant photo and video booth activation business who gets booked for some pretty awesome and meaningful work. From trade shows, galas and community events to performing artist tours, we receive booking requests looking for creative and innovative ideas and concepts. No two days are ever alike!

Therefore, we are looking for a creative and dynamic in-house creative designer and animator to come on board and join us.

Your skills:
You have master proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects.
You understand urgency, deadlines and have an eye for attention grabbing and clear graphics.
Timeliness and attention to detail will be of the utmost importance in this role.

The position:

- Concept creation
We as a team look at our customer's brand along with their marketing assets and event goals to come up with a concept that will best serve their event goals. Sometimes this is a performing artist, most times it is a company or yearly event. This is where your proficiency in Adobe Illustrator shines and what differentiates us from our competitors. You will be provided with a list of our equipment and put together a visual for the customer to see a rendering of what our sales and marketing team are proposing.

- Overlay and background creation (both still and animated)
Based on the event, you will be responsible for designing several small still corresponding pieces. This typically includes a banner for the landing photo page, an overlay for the corporate branded photos and a footer listing logos of sponsors. When in the event of being booked for video services, you will be trained on using our software and combining it with your knowledge of Photoshop and After Effects to create 15-20 second corresponding background video effects or 5 second intro/outros.

- Wrap designs
We have photo booths, enclosures, backdrops and printers that can be vinyl wrapped or cloth wrapped to be personalized for customers. Those designs need to be created digitally first for print by you and adhere to printing specifications and parameters.

You can expect 25-40 projects per month in various scopes, all within the description above.

Please note that the listing requires us to put a desired amount of hours per week.
We want to clarify we understand in creative roles while a concept for a beginner may take 3 hours to turnaround, a pro may complete that same task in 30 minutes to an hour and we value that!

We want to be clear that we are not concerned with hours worked. We only care about consistent, quality and timely turnarounds of our projects. If you clear out the project load in 10-15 hours each week versus 30/40, great - pay is the same and project load will be the same. We just expect to be responded to promptly during business hours Monday - Friday confirming receipt of project and a 15-30 minute brief per project. ***

Pay:
Pay will raise to $2,500 per month after a 3 month probationary period.
