Architect / Engineer / Experienced Corel Sign Designer / Quality Control

Seeking part time (US EST) expert Corel ADA sign designers. This is a technical illustration position. There is very little creative design. If repetitious designs are too boring, then this is not the gig for you. Experience with construction plans, sign design, large program management is preferred. The ability to work in inches is required with a strong attention to detail.

Requirement Skills:
Corel Draw - advanced to expert knowledge (experience working with Corel Draw x7 or newer version required)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
Using Corel, the designer adjusts kerning and placement of graphics, generates proofs for review
Responsible for layout of graphic images to produce custom signage
Designs / Interprets client supplied sign packages to meet client’s requirements
Designing to scale for shop fabrication
Knowledge of pantone colors, file types (pdf, jpg, ai, eps), vector and raster graphics
Aptitude for numbers and understanding of sections and elevations
