Supply Chain Manager for Rapidly Growing Ecommerce Company

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Supply Chain Manager to join our rapidly growing ecommerce company. We have been in business since 2014 and sell on Amazon US and Amazon CAand our own Shopify store using Amazon FBA fulfillment.

As our Supply Chain Manager you will play a crucial role in maintaining healthy stock levels for all our products.

* Role *

Ensure all SKU’s remain in stock year round by:
- Monitoring forecasts on a weekly basis
- Tracking inventory levels in all locations (Amazon, US 3PL, suppliers warehouse),
- Submitting PO’s in a timely manner
- Coordinate shipping plans with our Sourcing and Logistics Manager
- Monitoring COGS/inventory value
- Overcome supply chain inefficiencies and provide solutions to problems

* Responsibilities *

1. Weekly Forecast Updates and monitoring
- Update our 2024 forecast each week, tracking the forecasted data against actual units sold
- Monitor all SKU inventory health to prevent OOS issues by submitting PO’s early

2. Inventory Monitoring
- Ensure healthy inventory levels for all SKUs in Amazon, updating their stock level three times per week
- Ensure healthy inventory levels for all key SKUs in our 3PL, updating their stock level two times per week
- Ensure healthy reserve inventory levels for all SKUs at our suppliers in China, updating their stock level with each new shipment

3. Submitting PO’s and Shipping Plans
- Confirm quantity needed and notify our Sourcing and Logistics Manager to submit the PO/shipping plan
- Communicate with our freight forwarder to arrange shipments from China to the USA
- Create shipping plans in Amazon Seller Central
- Create work order for shipments going to our 3PL
- Create inbound shipments as needed from 3PL warehouse to FBA

4. COGS Monitoring
- Document any COGS changes on a per order basis
- Update our inventory valuation on a monthly basis
- Stay keenly aware and up to date on all Amazon policy and fee changes related to supply chain.
- Monitor global SC issues, along with any freight cost changes

5. Improve Supply Chain Efficiencies
- Ask the right questions to overcome Supply Chain obstacles
- Work with our Sourcing and Logistics manager and suppliers to create solutions

* Results *

- Never stock out on our products
- Accurately track our inventory value
- Uses sea freight instead of air freight whilst still avoiding stock outs

* Requirements *

- Experience managing the supply chain for a complex e-commerce company with at least 50 SKUs generating over $3Million in revenue a year
- Extreme ownership attitude toward Supply Chain movements and stock levels
- Does not make assumptions or accept excuses from our suppliers
- Willing to ask difficult questions to solve problems
- Ability to interpret data and understand trends
- Direct Amazon supply chain management experience is preferred, but not required
- Willingness to be adaptable and learn new things
- Exceptional time management and is a self-starter. This is a full time job and requires full time attention!
- Strong organizational skills and able to juggle multiple shipments and tasks at a time
- Proficient in Data Management and Analysis
- Google Sheets/Excel Expert
- Familiar with Google Looker Studio
- Strong communication skills
- Strong written and verbal English skills
- Responsive in Slack and Clickup


* Compensation *

Starting pay is $1,500 per month for full time working hours. We expect you to be focused on this role only, and not working multiple jobs. Pay is processed on the 15th and 30th every month.
