Filipino Freelance Web Developer

Job Description:

We’re seeking a skilled Freelance Web Developer with at least 3 years of experience to join our team. You will primarily manage and optimize our Shopify Plus websites and handle various tasks as we grow.

Key Responsibilities:

- Backup Management: Back up Shopify websites to Google Drive bi-weekly.
Troubleshooting: Work in Bluehost or Shopify to resolve issues with DMARC, PHP, etc., and troubleshoot Shopify plugins.
- Website Management: Build basic web pages (e.g., Contact Us, About Us) and update website content regularly.
- Performance Optimization: Improve page load times, optimize images, and enhance website speed.
- SEO Implementation: Optimize content, meta tags, and site structure to boost search engine rankings.
- Third-Party Integration: Integrate payment gateways, email marketing services, and other third-party tools.
- Analytics & Security: Monitor website traffic with Google Analytics and update security measures to protect against threats.
- Technical Support: Provide on-call support for significant website issues and assist users with technical problems.
- Collaboration: Work closely with designers and content creators to meet design and content goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

- 3 years experience working with Shopify Plus
- Excellent understanding of web design for e-commerce
- The ideal candidate has experience working with Shopify Plus and a firm understanding of the use of liquids and the industry's best practices for website speed.
