Position Overview: We are searching for an experienced Estimator with a deep understanding of the UK property maintenance industry, particularly within the London market. The ideal candidate will have a rich background in estimating costs for painting, bathroom renovation, and various refurbishment projects.

This role demands more than just inputting figures into software; it requires a hands-on approach to accurately determine labour days, compile detailed materials lists, and select the optimal materials for each unique project. As well as other admin works on a daily basis, such us managing jobs, answering calls, sending emails...

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive cost analysis for painting, bathroom renovations, and refurbishment projects, covering all project facets from labour to materials.
• Leverage in-depth knowledge of the London market to accurately estimate project costs, ensuring competitive pricing without compromising on quality. (PLEASE NOTE WE VERY REARLY HAVE MEASUREMENTS COSTS WILL BE BASED ON VIDEOS AND IMAGES)
• Collaborate with project managers to obtain all necessary information for precise estimations and to write quotes for clients that are well thought out.
• In some cases when we have to review architectural plans and specifications to ascertain the scope of work and the essentials for the estimate.
• Provide itemised breakdowns of costs and labour days for project proposals and bids.
• Keep abreast of the latest construction techniques, materials, and trends to enhance project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications/Key requirements:
• Demonstrable experience as an Estimator in the construction/property maintenance sector, focusing on painting, bathroom renovations, and refurbishments.
• Extensive knowledge of the UK, particularly the London market, regulations, materials, and brands.
• Proficiency in estimating software, complemented by the ability to conduct manual estimations as required.
• Exceptional analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication verbal and written communication.
• If you can do designs, it will be a bonus.
• Capability to write 4-5 projects per week with stringent deadlines.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
