Programmer for a New Business Software Startup

We're building a web startup company that will make tools to help small businesses understand their business, and grow and expand.

I run a business myself, and I've built my own prototypes over the years for data entry, billing, invoicing, timesheets, reports and workflows - it works fantastically for me, and it's made a huge difference in how we work.

I've shown my systems to a range of business owners, and almost everyone wants to buy it. So me and my partner are working on building a system to be able to sell to them.

We have our first customer, and things are going great. However, we'd really like some additional help and assistance from a generalist programmer.

We're looking for someone who loves problem solving, has experience programming solutions for business, loves making difficult problems simple and easy, and someone who has a favourite technology, but can figure out anything, and make anything work.

We're both based in Japan. If things go very well, and you get on with us, and we like you, there are plenty of future opportunities. We might even need to fly you out to Japan.

If you're looking for a more permanent or fulltime job, this position could easily evolve into this kind of role.

We're looking for a very specialised team member, so a copy-paste application will be ignored.

The system is designed in Python/Django, so Python/Django experience is favorably looked on.
