Design Manager - Remote (AEST)

Punchy Digital Media, a Melbourne-based video and animation studio, is looking for a dynamic Design Manager to lead our Design Team. This role is central to our Production Department, focusing on developing storyboards and design assets for animation.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and guide the design team.
Ensure high-quality design standards.
Schedule and allocate design projects.
Use project management software (Trello, Float, Frame).
Communicate with project managers on job statuses.
Lead meetings and handle HR matters within the team.
Report to the Head of Production on team efficiency and recruitment.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in design or similar.
8+ years of design experience, with team management experience.
Experience in designing for animation.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).

Working Conditions:
Remote role for an Australian company (AEST).
Occasional travel to Manila for an annual retreat.
Adobe Creative Cloud licence provided.
