Senior Illustrator / Designer - Explainer Videos

Punchy Digital Media, a Melbourne-based video and animation studio, is looking for a Senior Design to join its team full-time with the role focusing on developing storyboards and design assets ready for animation teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Create storyboards for explainer videos that effectively communicate complex messages to Australian audiences in a simple and engaging manner.
Collaborate with writers, animators, and project managers to ensure that the storyboard accurately represents the script and meets the project's requirements.
Work with the production team to ensure that the final product meets the company's high standards of quality and creativity.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure that our videos are visually compelling and effective.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in design or similar.
5+ years of design experience.
Experience in designing for animation.

Skills:

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
Excellent English writing and speaking skills.
Strong time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

Remote role for an Australian company (AEST) 9am to 6pm.
Travel to Manila for an annual retreat.
Adobe Creative Cloud licence provided.
