As we continue to expand our online presence, we are seeking an experienced, talented and creative individual to join our team as a Website Developer, but not just for SecureCash.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development technologies and a passion for creating visually appealing, user-friendly websites. As our website developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, from layout to function. You will work closely with our design and marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of website features and aesthetics. The ability to troubleshoot and debug code efficiently is essential, as well as staying updated on emerging technologies and trends in web development. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are also crucial for this role.

Requirements:

*Strong foundation in Frontend and Quality Assurance with bonus of Backend knowledge.
*Hands-on experience in HTML, CSS, vanilla JavaScript, Node.js, and MongoDB or similar.
*Experience in server handling with Ubuntu and Nginx is highly desirable.
*Understanding of SASS would be a big plus.
*An understanding of off page SEO and Google requirements especially from a technical point of view.
*Good spoken and written English.
*Attention to detail and the willingness to research to overcome any obstacles faced is essential.


Responsibilities:

Website Development:

*Develop and maintain frontend interfaces using HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript.
*Converting PSD/AI mockups into fully functional, mobile responsive HTML5 pages.
*Writing JavaScript modules and libraries to connect web forms to our server backend.
*Design and implement scalable backend systems using Node.js and MongoDB.
*Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
*Manage server configurations and deployments on Ubuntu and Nginx.
*As a result of having multiple developers over previous years there are varieties in technologies which have been used. One *major responsibility will be to uniform all projects into the same stack.

Off Page SEO Optimisation:

*Taking on all aspects of page speed optimisation and focusing on Google’s Core Web Vitals, including but not limited to; optimising images in next-gen formats, improving old web pages and cleaning up outdated markup.
*Incorporating structured data or schema markup.
*Optimising mobile responsiveness.
*Keeping up with Google trends and providing recommendations for optimisation.


This is a Full Time position. Working hours will be 8:30am to 4:30pm Adelaide time, Monday to Friday. The salary we are offering for this position is 60,000 PHP per month, payments are processed fortnightly. Included in your package will be a 13 month payment, half paid mid year and half end of year and an RDO every month on the day of your choosing!

You will be required to log all working hours through our monitoring software “Monitask”, this includes sporadic screen capture.
