JOB OVERVIEW

Experienced YouTube Video Editor NEEDED - Documentary & Crime Niche

Requirements:
Senior editing experience
Works with AE to make advanced scenes
3d camera, parallax effects, animations
Custom motion graphics/illustrations to explain complex problems
Custom maps
Create motion graphics/templates to be used on our other channels
High-quality sound design

Understands very well what the story is about (e.g. crime case)
Good understanding of creative production not just editing, knowing how to add a mysterious tone to the video, changing music to fit the emotions, using different cuts and jumps to make the story interesting, etc...
Creates own templates for introducing people, and locations, or uses existing templates online (But there are no high-effort custom AE effects like 3D camera movements etc. are needed)
Very good at picking stock footage that is respectful, authentic, and doesn't look too fake. It must match the story details (e.g. age, race, and gender of people in the stock matches the story)
Skilled at finding your own news clips, other footage, images, and other materials related to the real-life story to include in the video
Makes animations at ----------
Creates a sound design with SFX and music

Other Information about the job:

Long-term work
We provide resources for video editing footage like Artgrid and music like Epidemic if needed.
Previous experience is a must and an experience in the related niche is a plus.
The channel covers unique crime cases in well-researched, documentary-style videos.


Our Team:

Our team consists of two full-time editors, a full-time writer, and talented scriptwriters and voice actors.

Possibility to work full-time in the future.
