You'll Make a Difference:
In this essential role, you'll be the cheerleader and champion for our students, guiding them to achieve their career goals. You'll provide personalized support, equipping them with job-ready skills and confidence.
What You'll Do:
*Welcoming New Members: Provide a warm welcome to new members, answer their questions, and guide them through the onboarding process.
*Daily Discussion Prompts - Regularly post questions or topics to spark discussions and encourage member participation. (Channel: Collaboration Corner) TTOTD - Tech Topic Of The Day!
*Regular community engagement - Respond and engage to participants’ posts / contents to spark engagement. (Channel: Daily Dose of Tech / The Growth Hub)
*Promote and Organize Weekly Workshops
*Member spotlight of the week - A shoutout featuring a specific member achievement
*Accelerate Member of the Month - A shoutout for the member with the highest points for the month
*Weekly Ice-breaker challenges - Create challenges every week to break the ice, encourage interaction, and build a sense of community. (Channel: Collaboration Corner)Example: Read a tech article
*Resources Update: Continuously update the resource library (The Growth Hub channel) with fresh content relevant to the transitioning tech professional's needs.
*Regular feedback: Conduct monthly surveys or polls to understand member needs and preferences, allowing you to adapt and improve the community experience.
*Monitoring: Regularly review posts and discussions within all channels for adherence to the community guidelines (engagement, content, conduct, confidentiality).
*Addressing violations: Identify and take appropriate action (warnings, temporary suspension, removal) for content that violates the guidelines.
*Conflict Resolution: Mediate and address any disputes or conflicts arising between members within the community.
*Member Engagement: Proactively reach out to members who seem disengaged or inactive, offering support and encouraging participation.
*Community Health: Monitor the overall health and sentiment of the community, addressing any negative trends or fostering a more positive environment when needed.
*Data Analysis: Analyze member activity data and feedback to identify areas for improvement within the community.
*Reporting: Provide regular reports to stakeholders on the community's performance and engagement metrics.
*Curating Content: Source and share valuable tech-related content (articles, videos, podcasts) within relevant channels.
*Generating refunds for participants who would like to unsubscribe to the community.
*YTT Promotion: Promote Yellow Tail Tech’s main programs to the community to attract new enrollments.
What We Look For:
Strong communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills
Experience in community engagement or online community management
Project management and organizational skills
Social media savvy and experience with content creation
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Background in hosting/facilitating Events
Background in Tech - Bonus
Excellent Research Skills
