The Role:
We're searching for a Lead Data Engineer and Advanced Excel Expert with a proven track record in architecting and refining complex inventory management systems or similarly complex projects. This role demands a self-starter with a knack for systems thinking and an analytical mindset. Your mission will be to overhaul our existing Excel framework, enhancing its efficiency, scalability, and functionality.

Core Responsibilities:
- Architect and refine our Excel-based management system to ensure optimal performance, focusing on scalability and automation.
- Use your deep knowledge of Excel, including VBA and Power Query, to automate our data processes, especially moving from manual inputs to using APIs for real-time data.
- Create and improve our database designs, handling data from start to finish, making everything run smoother and more automatically.
- Serve as a consultant on system enhancements, introducing and applying high level solutions for data management and operational efficiency.
- Lead the automation of our data architecture, from ingestion through APIs to analysis, minimizing manual labor and maximizing accuracy and insight.
- Excel in project management, navigating projects with autonomy, demonstrating exceptional organizational and leadership prowess.

What We Need:
- Unrivaled expertise in Excel, including a deep understanding of advanced functionalities, VBA, and Power Query.
- Comprehensive experience in database design, data engineering, ETL processes, and API integration, with a strong command of SQL and a working knowledge of Python.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, capable of transforming data into actionable insights.
- An analytical mind with exceptional problem-solving and logical skills, capable of navigating complex data challenges.
- A background in supply chain management is a bonus, offering a better understanding of the project at hand.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, ensuring clarity and efficiency in remote collaborations.
- Proven project management experience, demonstrating an ability to manage time, priorities, and resources effectively.
