Senior Estimator / Quality Control

Hello. I AM Builders is a US based Construction Estimating and Management Firm and we are looking to expand our team!

We want to hire 3 new Senior Estimators that have 10+ experience in the US market estimating Commercial projects.

The ideal candidate would have expert level knowledge of all Architectural and Structural trades. At a minimum, the ideal candidate would have expert knowledge of one the following trades: concrete, wood and metal framing, drywall. He would also have spent years not just preparing quantities or BOMs, but also coordinating labor and material pricing, handling revisions, and writing proposals.

The position responsibilities would include the following:

-Estimating Complex Projects
-Quality Control and Reviewing Estimates for Accuracy
-Writing Proposals
-Responding to technical questions from clients
-Fixing/Updating Estimates when there is an issue
-Training New Estimators
-Managing a Small Estimating Team

We require experience in Planswift or similar software. We also require costing experience using a database like Craftsmen National Construction Estimator or RS Means, or a manual understanding of how to determine pricing.

This is a long-term full position. Hours would be 8:30am - 5pm+ Eastern. At our company there is a lot of opportunity for growth in position and pay.
