VA with Architecture Experience for Takeoffs

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Virtual Assistant with a background in architecture or a related field to assist our team with construction takeoffs. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing architectural drawings and extracting precise measurements using Bluebeam or similar software. This role is crucial in supporting our estimating processes and ensuring accurate project costing.

Responsibilities:

-Review architectural and construction drawings to identify and quantify materials, dimensions, and areas.
-Use Bluebeam Revu or comparable software to perform digital takeoffs accurately.
-Compile and organize takeoff data into clear and concise reports.
-Communicate findings and any discrepancies in drawings to the project team.
-Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and software updates.
-Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all takeoff activities.
-Assist with additional tasks and projects as needed within the architectural and construction scope.


Qualifications:

-Proven experience in architecture, construction, or a related field.
-Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu or similar takeoff software such as PlanSwift, AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and On-Screen Takeoff.
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
-Excellent communication and organizational skills.
-Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
-Familiarity with construction terminology and processes.
-Basic understanding of architectural and engineering drawings.
-Reliable internet connection and access to necessary hardware/software for remote work.
