Marketing Assistant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Marketing Assistant with strong editing and copyright skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing blogs and landing pages, proofreading, revising, and ensuring they are SEO-optimized based on directions. Additionally, the Marketing Assistant will need project management skills to communicate with writers and developers. They must check the backend of websites to ensure developers placed content and SEO items correctly, such as meta descriptions, SEO titles, H1 tags, H2 tags, etc. The candidate should be proficient in Canva and able to create graphics and reels for social media, as well as schedule social media posts. They should also be able to perform keyword research and select topics for the monthly content calendar. Platform skills required include Wordpress, Wix, Canva, Google Workspace, Excel, Google Docs/Word, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush/SE Ranking is a plus. The Marketing Assistant should be able to pull monthly analytics and create reports for clients for SEO, PPC, and social media.

Responsibilities:

Editing blogs and landing pages
Proofreading and revising content
Ensuring content is SEO-optimized based on directions
Project management to communicate with writers and developers
Checking the backend of websites to ensure content and SEO items are correctly placed
Creating graphics and reels for social media using Canva
Scheduling social media posts
Performing keyword research
Create content for various projects
Selecting topics for the monthly content calendar
Pulling monthly analytics
Creating reports for clients for SEO, PPC, and social media

Requirements:

Strong editing and copyright skills

Experience with WordPress & Wix
Experience with Google Workspace, Excel, and Google Docs/Word
Experience with Google Analytics and Google Search Console
