Designer and marketer

About our company:
Firelight Marketing is a creative marketing agency that provides support to small-to-mid-size businesses in the US. We provide branding, websites, copy, pitch decks, newsletters, ads, and social media design and posting as well as some virtual assistant activities. Firelight Marketing is expected to grow to over 100 clients within the year and we are looking for experienced designers and marketers who have expertise of over 2 years in a few areas the areas below, but are also interested in learning other facets of marketing and design and will have compensation increased according to competency. This position is for someone who loves completing an abundance of design and marketing tasks daily, has a great eye for detail, is a responsive communicator with questions and issues daily, and is looking for growth with a company over time.

What does success in this position look like?
The ideal client will need to be able to complete all tasks given within 20 hours Monday-Friday, Eastern Standard Time (EST). For example, if a task is given to you at 5pm Sunday EST, it needs to be completed by 1pm Monday EST. However, if a task is given Friday at 10am EST, it does not need to be completed until 6am EST the following Monday. The exception to this is longer items such as a full website design where more time will be allocated. Other than this requirement, you are free to work whenever you want during the day.

Excellent communication is essential and communication will be via Skype. If the candidate ---------- ’t know something, doesn’t have all the information or content, or for anything else, it is imperative to communicate it to us before the 20 hour deadline. Not communicating within 20 hours with a finished task or question beforehand is grounds for immediate termination.

Tasks will be in your area of enjoyment and expertise, and training will be provided for those interested in learning other types of tasks.

This position is full-time and compensation is $1200/month to start. There will be a 30-day probation period to see if we are a good match.
