== THE POSITION ==
As the Executive Virtual Assistant for our thriving Chinese restaurant client, you'll play a key role in the restaurant's expansion across the United States, working with both the client and the head chef.
Your primary focus will be developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all kitchen workflows and systems. These SOPs will serve as a blueprint, guaranteeing consistent operations and maintaining the restaurant's high standards across all new locations as they open. During this exciting growth phase, your role will be instrumental in streamlining processes, improving efficiency, and upholding the brand's reputation for excellence. -> Requirements:
• MUST be able to speak, read, and write in both English and Chinese (Mandarin).
• Experience as an admin/executive assistant.
• Experience with using Google Workspace (formerly known as G Suite).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (ability to perform conditional formatting and utilize the VLOOKUP function).
• Available to work part-time (20 hrs/wk) to start with the possibility of going full-time.
• Can work during standard US business hours.
• Fast, stable internet connection (Minimum download speed 5 Mbps)
• Working computer/laptop (Minimum Requirement: Processor - Intel i3 or equivalent, RAM - 4GB).
• Backup power source or work location for power outages.
-> Nice to Have:
• Experience creating SOPs/Playbooks is preferred but not required (training will be provided).
• Experience with Lark Suite is preferred but not required.
• Experience with MarginEdge (inventory management platform) or similar software is preferred but not required.
• Experience with iMovie or Final Cut Pro is preferred but not required. Experience cutting TikTok videos and IG reels is a plus.
-> Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Creating SOPs/Playbooks to standardize the restaurant's kitchen operations.
• Translating written/spoken instructions from Mandarin to English in recipe instructional videos and other items that need translation from Mandarin.
• Simple video editing showcasing step-by-step instructions on how a specific dish is made by the restaurant's chef.
• Building kitchen recipe books.
• Various restaurant and kitchen administrative tasks.
