Xero & Profit First Bookkeeper

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced bookkeeper with expertise in the Profit First method and Xero accounting software. As a Bookkeeper - Profit First Specialist, you will be responsible for helping clients implement and maintain the Profit First system and manage their financial accounts using Xero.


This part-time position starts with the first two weeks as full-time to get onboarded, set up Xero, and then switch to part-time hours. The position starts from $6-7/hour, pays bi-weekly, and has flexible working arrangements.


Responsibilities:
-Work closely with clients to understand their financial goals and help them implement the Profit First system
-Manage client accounts and ensure they are following the Profit First method
-Pull reports from Xero to provide clients with accurate financial information
-Set up new clients in Xero, including syncing accounts, creating charts of accounts, and reconciling accounts
-Manage multiple clients and ensure timely and accurate reporting
-Daily reconciliation


Requirements:
-Proven experience as a bookkeeper with a focus on the Profit First method
-Expertise in Xero accounting software and comfortable with pulling reports
-Experience setting up a company from scratch in Xero, including account syncing, chart of account creation, and reconciliation
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to manage multiple clients and prioritize tasks
-Relevant certifications preferred
