Exciting role for a talented experienced book keeper to help support a fast paced digital publishing company.

As a skilled book keeper you'll be responsible for creating working with our cloud accounting software (Xero) and creating management accounts and financial reports for the CEO.

We're looking for someone reliable, with excellent attention to detail and track record to handling management accounts and ideally has used Xero cloud accounting software.

This role offers the ability to work entirely from home in an ad-hoc capacity to prepare financial reports.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE INCLUDE:

• Prepare end of year account statements for management and external review

• Ensure smooth, timely and professional handing of all financial reporting and account preparation

• Manage all aspects of account submissions with our auditor and ensure all accounts are kept up to date and accurate.

• Provide financial insights and related reports to the CEO

KEY ATTRIBUTES OF CANDIDATES WANTED:

* Ideally CPA qualified

* Minimum degree level education (ideally in accounting field or suitable accounting qualifications)

* Minimum 2 years experience in a similar book keeper role

* Excellent written and oral English skills

* Naturally organised and structured, someone who loves numbers and gets a kick from accounting

* Enthusiastic with mature ‘can-do’ attitude who is able to give and receive feedback

* Excellent attention to detail and able to explain themselves clearly

* Solid computer skills – comfortable with Excel, Word

* Ideally have solid experience with cloud accounting software ideally, Xero.

* Candidate must be able to begin work right away
