Paraplanner Role (Remote - Philippines)

About Us: We are a leading financial advice business specialising in aged care financial planning. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Paraplanner to join our dynamic team. This remote role is ideal for candidates who have a deep understanding of the Australian financial system, particularly in superannuation and taxation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compile financial statements and create simple statements of financial advice.
• Utilise our tools to calculate capital gains tax and model aged care scenarios.
• Prepare Word documents for retirement planning modeling.
• Collaborate with external paraplanners for specialised tasks.
• Input data into our CRM (Work sorted), creating records and strategy papers for aged care scenarios.
• Conduct compliance checks and run quotes on financial products, including annuities.

Requirements:

• Minimum of three years of direct experience in a paraplanning role.
• Proficient in Australian superannuation and taxation systems.
• Ability to calculate capital gains tax implications and possess cash flow knowledge.
• Experience in creating financial strategy papers and compliance checklists.
• Familiarity with the Australian aged pension system is advantageous.
• Previous work with an Australian financial planning firm or an outsourcing company is highly regarded.
• Must be proactive, able to work independently, and hit the ground running.
